Syrian opposition fighters announced that they have sieged a number of important buildings, and killed dozens of Hezbollah militants and Assad forces in Jobar region, east of Damascus. Following a failed attack by Assad mercenaries to penetrate from Tayebeh direction, Syrian revolutionary fighters brought a counter attack in a joint operation, and killed dozens of enemy forces’, and sieged a number of important buildings.
A number of enemy forces’ were killed and a number of their vehicles were destroyed during this operation.
Simultaneously, Assad army attacked Jobar region with artillery and heavy explosive munitions trying to break the resistance. Local sources say the sound of explosion could be heard long distance away in Damascus.
