Sources say in Shabveh province, southeastern Yemen, the Popular Resistance Forces have sieged 2nd infantry brigade, proponents of Ali Abdullah Saleh, the deposed president of Yemen. In addition to this, Khalid Al-Khatib; commander of besieged brigade and a number of his soldiers have been killed.
Furthermore, the Popular Resistance Forces attacked Ezzan base, in Shabveh city, capturing the military base there and taking dozens of their forces as captives.
