Iran’s foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi admitted the recently bombed arms factory in Sudan belonged to the mullahs’ regime.
“Let’s pretend the Islamic republic of Iran built the arms factory in Sudan? Is such a measure considered a sin? Such trade already exists between various countries. Governments buy weapons from one another and this is completely natural,” Salehi said in an interview with Qatar’s Al-Watan daily.
In remarks regarding the regime’s hasty retreat on the issue of closing the Strait of Hormuz, Salehi said, “Remarks on closing the strait were unofficial.”
