The Iraqiya Coalition again requested for the replacement of UN representative in Iraq Martin Kobler, calling on the Parliament to intervene and place pressure on the world body for his replacement, al-Sumariya TV reported on Wednesday.
Iraqiya slate member Ibrahim Mutlak said in a press conference Kobler is under the influence of the US and Iraqi governments and his conduct is suspicious.
Ibrahim Mutlak questioned Kobler regarding his stance in the face of law violations in Iraqi government prisons, role in thousands of innocent Iraqis being imprisoned, his response to demonstrators and the issue of prosecuting human rights violators.
