The Iraqi Parliament Human Rights Commission declared there are a large number of secret prisons in Iraq belonging to the ministries of Interior, Defense and Intelligence that are in complete violation of the laws.

Commission member Osama Jamil said hundreds of innocent prisoners are being held without their cases ever being finalized. He held Maliki responsible for the conditions of these prisoners.
