According to Azzaman daily, published in Iraq, one of the Iran-affiliated special groups’ commanders was arrested in Wasit Province.

Captain Aziz Latif, an Iraqi military commander, said: Ali Haydar one of the commanders of special groups affiliated with the Iranian regime was arrested in Kut.

Captain Latif added: He is the commander of special groups that are responsible for assassination of Iraqi personalities in Wasit province. He has confessed in cooperation with the Iranian regime during interrogation
