On the eleventh day of Geneva sit-in, a press conference was held by the International Committee of Jurists in Defense of Ashraf. At the end of the conference, the participating attorneys joined the protesters and emphasized, “the international law is in your favor, and considering the risks for Ashraf, the US forces must continue protection of Ashraf according to the Fourth Geneva Convention.

The speakers in the sit-in were: Professor Eric David, President of the Law Faculty of Free University of Brussels and the honorary chairman of the International Committee of Jurists in Defense of Ashraf.

François Serres, an Ashraf attorney and the executive director of the International Committee of Jurists in Defense of Ashraf, who said, “ We admire your for the demonstrations you hold and for your brave sit-in. we assure you that the International Committee of Jurists will follow to make sure that the International organizations accomplish their duties to guarantee the protection of Ashraf by the US and according to the Fourth Geneva Convention.
