In an interview with Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Dhafir al-Ani, Iraqi Member of Parliament called transfer of Ashraf protection from American forces against the Iraqi people.

He said: Transfer of Ashraf protection is a negative point and its only winner is the Iranian regime. This matter has no benefit for Iraqi people; on the contrary, it gives more power to the Iranian regime to stress on its presence and influence in Iraq.

Dhafir al-Ani called transfer of Ashraf protection from the American forces an illogical decision and there is no moral, legal, and political justification for this illogical decision.
