GCC Countries form Deterrent Military Force against Iran

The Al-Hayat daily, published in London reported: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries along with Jordan and Egypt have decided to form a military power to act as a deterrent force against the Iranian regime.

Al-Hayat added that despite Arab countries’ opposition to military option against the Iranian regime, these countries were preparing themselves militarily against the regime’s threat. The Gulf States are concerned with respect to the Iranian regime’s objectives and intensions. They say if a war occurs between U.S. and Iran, they would get involved too.

According to this daily the air power of the GCC countries is superior to Iran’s air power qualitatively, and their military contracts with the US, Russia and some European countries are aimed to improve their military power in other fields.
