Professor Raymond Tanter, former member of US National Security Council, in his speech delivered in the gathering of Iranians in Los Angeles and San Jose, stressed: The most powerful means to confront the Iranian regime’s threats is to support the Iranian people and Resistance for democratic change in that country, reported USS Newswire.
Tanter referred to threats caused by the mullahs’ regime’s nuclear ambitions and asked for imposing smart sanctions against that regime.
Professor Tanter welcomed Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) designation and said: The most powerful means by which US can warn Tehran’s rulers is to support the Iranian people’s endeavors for democratic change in that country.
He added: Designation of the Iranian democratic opposition in the terrorist list endangers the US National security.
At the end, Tanter said: Iran Policy Committee studies show that Tehran regime propagates against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) 350 percent more than against all other groups.
