In an interview with Babeliya TV, Ayad Jamaluddin, prominent Iraqi Shiite clergy and vice chairman of the Foreign Relation Commission in Iraq’s Parliament, said: Based on international laws, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) is protected and its security must be provided; we say that the US and the Multi National Forces must have role in keeping well being and security and freedom of PMOI refugees in Camp Ashraf and any other place.

Babeliya TV added: There is a strong opposition in Iraq against transfer of Ashraf protection somehow the opponents call the transfer of the PMOI’s file to the Iraqi government a blatant mistake, and believe that it is better to support the PMOI which opposes the and expansionist Iranian regime.
