The angry people in Ivan-Gharb in Ilam (western Iranian province) attacked banks and state offices and destroyed or set fire on some of them. The demonstrators engaged with the “Special Unit” guards and set some state vehicles on fire; they also attacked the governorate office by cocktail Molotov.

The criminal guards of Special Unit opened fire on the demonstrators and killed 10 people and injured 15 others. A five year old kid and 3 school students were among the victims.
