
The people of Naqadeh and Oshnaviyeh (two northwestern Iranian cities) staged anti-government demonstrations.
In Naqadeh, over 5,000 people, taking advantage of the created atmosphere owing to conflict of regimes gangs during parliamentary election charade, staged demonstration in front of governorate building.
In Oshnaviyeh, over 3000 staged similar demonstration and blocked most of the streets. In fear of spreading out this protesting measure, the suppressive State Security Force agents were stationed in the streets. Presently an unannounced martial law is established in Naqadeh and Oshnaviyeh.
