Over 2000 workers of Hafttappeh Sugarcane factory in Khuzestan staged a sit in protesting arrests of active workers of the factory and asked for their release.
Received reports indicate that after the arrest of Ghorban Ali-Pour one of the workers on Sunday Nov. 4, another worker by the name of Mohammad Haydari, member of worker union of the Sugarcane factory, was arrested by the agents of the Intelligence and Security Ministry and was transferred to an unknown place.
According to the workers, major parts of the factory were closed down due to workers strike.
