
Over 2,000 workers of the Haft Tappeh sugar cane refinery staged a rally and chanted slogans against leaders of mullahs’ regime in the city of Shoush in southern province of Khouzestan on Monday Oct. 1.
On their way to governor office in Shoush, the workers carried banners and shouted “we are workers of Haft Tapeh, we are hungry, we are hungry”, “we do not want incompetent governor” and “honorable livelihood is our indisputable right”.
The angry workers of Haft Tappeh sugar cane factory that have been on strike since Saturday Sep. 29, held protesting gatherings and demanded their unpaid salaries, insurance and change of factory management.
According to striking workers of Haft Tappeh, Iranian regime has gathered a number of its security forces who are not Iranian, in the Haft Tappeh police Station in order to stop workers’ protests. The workers said the foreigners were from Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanese Hezbollah.
