Iranian people from various sectors of society staged strikes, sit-in, demonstrations and gatherings in Tehran, Qom, Shazand of Arak, Yazd and Bandar Abbas.
In Qom a group of Women dress shopkeepers demonstrated against the brutal attacks of the State Security Force agents and clashed with them. Following this incident the people of Qom joined the shopkeepers and blocked Safaiyeh Street; the protesters then gathered in front of the office of the supreme leader’s office; in fear of spreading out the protest, the SSF agents attacked the people and beat a number of them.
In Yazd, the workers of Chini Ashkan Factory have gone on strike since Tuesday. The workers declared they would continue their protest until they achieve their demands.
The suppressive agents of SSF hurriedly came to the location ant threatened the protesters. But the workers resisted and continued their protest and strike.
In Arak, over 5 thousand people including the families of the workers who had been killed or injured in the explosion of two factories gathered outside the Vali Asr hospital and staged their protest.
Further protests by taxi drivers in Tehran, and university students in southern city of Bandar Abbas were reported.
