In a special interview with Belgian La Libre daily, the President -elect of the Iranian Resistance said: 27 member countries of the EU should abide by the UK court ruling and remove the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from the EU list of terrorist organization
The La Libre published its interview with Mrs. Rajavi entitled: 27 EU member countries have no excuse’ wrote: On Wednesday, the NCRI President had come to Brussels in the framework of the main Iranian opposition movement to remove the PMOI from the EU terrorist organization’s list. Rajavi, who looked powerful of the British Court verdict, accepted interview with the La Libre.
In response to the question why the London Appeal Court verdict will oblige the EU to revise this designation? Mrs. Rajavi said: This verdict has high significance, because the judges deeply assessed the file, this issue has a great importance in Europe, because Britain was the basis of this designation, now there is no reason to keep the PMOI in this list.
Answering the question whether the clerical regime will make concession regarding the nuclear file? Mrs. Rajavi said: No, the clerical regime has decided to continue this program up until reaching to nuclear bomb, because it wants to export terrorism and fundamentalism to Arab and Moslem countries of the world; this is what the regime needs; that is why Khamenei and Ahmadinajad have repeatedly announced that they could not halt Uranium enrichment; the Iranian regime won’t accept Solana’s suggestion; this regime only wants to buy time; now it is over 5 years that EU is negotiating with this regime; what was the outcome?
Responding the question about the clerical regime’s missile attack to Ashraf City, Mrs. Rajavi said: The PMOI members who reside in Ashraf are under protection of the Geneva Fourth Convention; the United States is responsible for their protection, but unfortunately the mullahs’ regime meddles in Iraq comprehensively; this attack is considered a war action and it is a reaction to the London’s Appeal Court since the PMOI is the only alternative for the clerical regime and for this reason this regime is so much afraid of the PMOI .
