Dariush Ghanbari, member of the Iranian regime’ Majlis (parliament) admitted the incorrect implementation of the so-called “Subsidy Smart Plan” by Ahmadinejad’s government has brought harsh impacts on people’s social lives.
“This plan was carried out in such an incomplete manner that today it has become the main element behind inflation throughout the country,” he said. “After the implementation of this plan, the people are those who are paying the heavy price for this issue. They are under extreme pressure and gas prices, for example, have skyrocketed. Residents of large cities, towns and villages have become very dissatisfied with this this plan.”
