Supporters of the Iranian Resistance and Ashraf residents staged their 208th consecutive day of sit-in outside the UN European Headquarters in Geneva. The participants chanted slogans demanding from the UN immediate protection of Ashraf residents, assistance for the wounded residents and lifting the inhumane siege imposed on the camp by Maliki’s government.
The protesters also called on UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay to take action and provide protection for Ashraf residents.
