Iran: exiling prisoners to far away cities to part them from their family

The Mullahs’ regime has resorted to a new type of psychological torture against prisoners by sending them to exiles far from their home towns to part them from their families. One example is Mr. Mehdi Jalili, a political prisoner and an MEK supporter. Prison authorities expelled him from Mashhad, northeastern Iran, to Dargaz Prison in northwest of the country. Mr. Jalili, 62 is suffering from acute heart disease, hypertension and kidney problem, but the anti-human regime ruling Iran refuses to let him have medical treatment and is actually trying to torment the man to death, just because he is an MEK supporter.
Another example is Mr. Ali Ebadi, also a political prisoner and an MEK supporter. He has spent 6 years in Vakilabad Prison, northeast of Iran, but he has also been transferred to a prison in Sarakhs, a border town with harsh climate further to the west. This transfer comes at a time when Mr. Ebadi has only four more months to finish his jail term.
These actions by the inhumane regime of Iran show nothing but the mullahs’ deep hatred toward MEK and Iranian people supporters of the MEK.
