Prisoners in Ward 8 of the Evin prison are facing difficult situation and political prisoners are held under extreme pressures. The ward 8 has enough room for only 500 prisoners, but more than 800 prisoners are housed in there making it unbearable for all. Many have been forced to sleep outside the cells and in the corridors.
There are 19 political prisoners in this ward which have been scattered in to different locations. These political prisoners have been separated from one another so there wouldn’t be any contacts among them.
