In a statement, Amnesty International condemned the brutal attack of State Security Forces (SSF) to a mosque in Ahwaz, and arrest of a number of youth by the mullahs’ regime. This attack took place against the mourning ceremony of Mehdi Haydari, who had been murdered by the mullahs’ regime’s criminal agents recently. According to the source, the number of detainees was announced 300.

AI statement added: Some of the detainees’ families have said they had no news about their relatives and didn’t know where they were kept. They are worried that the prisoners might be under torture.

AI said the SSF agents shot at the participants in that ceremony which injured several people including an 18-yr old young man named Amir Haydari who was shot at leg.

The AI statement reads: Mehdi Haydari was under prosecution for a while and lived underground. He was surrounded by the SSF agents during a short visit to his home and was murdered.

According to received reports, 15 people captured in this brutal attack on the Hamzeh Mosque in Ahwaz, were youngsters under 15 who were transferred to the jail. The report indicates last Wednesday the families of detainees held a protesting gathering in front of the Governorship building in Ahwaz and asked for release of their loved ones.
