In an interview with Rafidain TV, Dr. Saleh Mutlaq, leader of the Iraqi National Dialogue Front, warned of Iraq’s occupation by the mullahs’ regime and said: “The Americans control Baghdad’s streets but the Iranian regime’s occupiers dominate most of the governmental organs and institutions. In Iraq, many people are concerned of the Iranian regime’s meddling and tampering, that is why they ask for continuance of the US forces presence in Iraq.

Affirming that the US forces withdrawal from Iraq would cause a vacuum of power in Iraq and would pave the way for the influence of the Iranian regime, Saleh Mutaq added: If Iraq remains in such a weak condition, she would be subject to the Iranian regime’s meddling, particularly now that the Iranian regime has spread everywhere inside Iraq, and many centers and institutions have been formed by this regime in Iraq since she was occupied. We have to destroy these centers and institutions in order not to be afflicted by the Iranian regime’s occupation after US occupation.
