Yemen President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi said his forces are fighting against the Houthis across Yemen to stop Iran’s ambitions.
The Yemeni president on Saturday, August 29th entered Sudan for a brief visit and said in a press conference along with his Sudanese counterpart.
“We are currently fighting a war in Yemen to stop Iran’s ambitions. The real ambitions of the Iranian regime are also seen in its meddling in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon… Houthi militants have suffered major setbacks in the past few weeks and retreated from some of their positions,” he said.
Currently battles are continuing in a number of provinces, including Ta’izz, Ibb, Hadida amd Ma’rib, Al Arabiya TV reported on Sunday, August 30th.
