Popular resistance forces, supported by air cover provided by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, were able to take complete control over the strategic Ma’rib Dam after intense clashes with Houthi rebels and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah.
Arab coalition bombers also bombed an airbase near Sana’a International Airport and a number of air defense bases near Port al-Salif in al-Hadida Province.
Ta’izz also witness clashes in the al-Jahmila, Asife and al-Kamb regions between popular resistance forces and Houthi militants who were seen targeting residential areas.
