
Popular resistance forces have captured the city of Tafa in al-Bayda located in central Yemen, Al Jazeera reported on Thursday, August 13th.
Popular resistance forces also attacked Houthi positions between Tafa and another city in which a tank and armored personnel carrier belonging to the Houthis were destroyed and its crews killed. Other Houthi members and troops of ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah were also killed in these attacks.
In response Houthi criminals began firing indiscriminate artillery shells on the villages of Sawadiya using tanks and mortars, leaving many innocent civilians killed and injured.
