Al-Sharqia TV, May 27, 2011 – The US Forces – Iraq spokesman warned of increasing terrorist attacks by Iran-backed militias against US forces. The US forces are accusing these militias of saber rattling against US forces in Iraq. USF-I spokesman Jeffrey Buchanan told CNN these militias are attacking US forces in the south and central regions of the country with the goal to claim they are forcing the US forces to evacuate the country. Buchanan added that US forces, with main contingencies centered in Baghdad and southern Iraq, have been recently targeted by numerous accounts of IED attacks and mortar fire.
