General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said if Damascus does not abide by its obligations to destroy its chemical stockpile the US will carry out military attacks, Al Arabiya TV reported on Monday, March 31st.
Dempsey made these recent remarks in a press conference after meeting with his Israeli counterpart, saying if the Syrian regime fails to fulfill its military goals we have specified military targets. However, we expect the Syrian regime to fully continue destroying its chemical stockpile, he added.
