The Pentagon announced it will dispatch US troops to strengthen the peacekeeping force in the border region of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula and Israel, Al Arabiya TV reported on Thursday, September 9th.
It is worth noting that the UN forces in the area comprise of 1,750 military and non-military men and women stationed in the Sinai Peninsula. Their official unit name is the Multi-National Force and Peacekeepers.
