Regarding sanctions on Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) and 18 subsidiaries, the U.S. Treasury announced that new sanctions include banning transactions between American trade institutions and the IRISL, reported Agence France Presse

The new sanctions against Iran also include freezing the assets of the said Iranian companies in the regions where follow U.S. judiciary system.
