Tom Casey, US State Department’s spokesman, said that Russians were concerned about the Iranian nuclear program too.

In a press conference, he added that the Russian official remarks regarding the Iranian regime’s recent missile test indicated that they had serious concerns in that regard.

Regarding the US missile shield plan in Europe, Tom Casey said that they had a meeting with Polish Defense Minister ahead about the missile defense shield plan during which they had come to general agreement. The plan was to confront Iran’s threats and was not a threat to Russia.

Casey added that while the Iranian regime continues its ballistic missile program they should have an acceptable response for protection of themselves and their allies’.
