On Feb. 7, Radio Deutche Welle of Germany reported that the German International Society for defending Human Rights (IGFM), which its main office is located in Frankfurt, in a statement condemned the death sentences by stoning for 3 people by clerical regime ruling Iran.

The IGFM in its statement called on German Chancellor Angela Merkel, leaders of other European countries and representatives of European Union to take serious and appropriate measures to end brutal death sentences by stoning in Iran.

The statement also indicates that the punishment of stoning is against the United Nation’s convention against torture and added: the present time there are more than 10 people sentenced to stoning and most of them are women.
