In an interview with the Al-Jazeera News Agency, the Iraqi writer and political analyst Ahmad Al-Abyaz from Baghdad: “According to estimates, today’s security conditions in Iraq have diminished 50 percent compared to circumstances preceding the elections. Government services are in their worst conditions. Popular discontent is on the rise. All the existing signs and indications speak of worsening conditions throughout Iraq. True political will is needed so that Iraqis will be able to completely change the current situation.”
