The Iraqiya Coalition led by Dr. Ayad Allawi announced that Maliki’s lack of commitment to implementing the Erbil agreement articles has led it to lose all legitimacy.
“The current government was formed based on the Erbil agreements and all factions must be committed to implementing its articles,” Iraqiya Coalition official spokeswoman Meisoun al-Damalouji said.
“The current government cannot continue if it does not meet the duties it has been obliged to,” she added. “For your information, this government remains illegal because it remains incomplete and lacks a government agenda. These issues question its legitimacy.”
