Areas around the cities of Damascus, Aleppo and Latakia are scenes of intense clashes between Syrian rebels and Assad’s security forces, Al Arabiya TV reported.
Dozens of Assad forces have been killed in clashes near the Jobar district of Damascus. Simultaneously, residential areas in Eastern Ghoute were bombed and unfortunately many civilians were killed and injured. Assad helicopter gunships were also seen taking their killed and wounded out of the area.
Clashes also continue in Latakia and Ghirdahe regions with FSA rebels seriously gaining the upper hand. In Aleppo, however, Assad forces used barrel bombs against residential areas, leaving behind many defenseless civilians killed and injured.
