The Fat’h (victory) Army associated to the armed Syrian opposition has taken over the strategic Kharbe heights around the town of Fo’e near Idlib, Al Jazeera TV reported on Sunday.
The town of Fo’e was a pro-Assad regime stronghold.
With this victory the Fat’h Army has taken over most of the Assad regime’s first defensive line in this area, killing a large number of the Assad troops.
It is said that the Kharbe heights is of strategic importance because it is completely overseeing the city of Fo’e and there are a large number of Assad army bases in that area.
