
Syrian opposition fighters in Hama have in recent months destroyed more than 20 main battle tanks and killed more than 1,500 Assad foot soldiers, turning the Sahl al-Qab road into one of the most dangerous paths for Assad’s military forces.
The 1st Coastal Division has posted new images of their attacks on Assad units on this road. The casualties suffered by Assad forces in the past months have reached above 1,500 dead.
The opposition forces have escalated their efforts to liberate regions in Hama Province. 35 vehicles carrying heavy machine guns have been destroyed by these opposition fighters, while 5 military buses have also been hunted down.
B1 and B2 TOW missiles are the main weapons inflicting the utmost casualties to Assad forces in Hama. These missiles have a range of 4 kilometers and they have escalated the opposition fighters’ capabilities. These missiles have made Assad’s armored vehicles, main battle tanks, BMP armored personnel carriers into sitting ducks.
The destruction of this equipment has become the main concern for Assad forces and their proxy militias.
