In Operation South Storm, aimed at taking control over the city of Dera’a in southern Syria, armed Syrian fighters attacked Dera’a from various fronts and launched intense artillery fire on Assad military positions, Al Arabiya TV reported on Friday, August 14th.
Free Syrian Army fighters have captured the Tal Za’tar heights along with a number Assad bases on the road leading to the city of Yadude. In other fronts the FSA fighters made advances on Assad army defense lines in this city.
