
Bassam Tabajah, a commander of the Lebanese Hezbollah in Syria, was killed on Wednesday, July 16th, near Damascus in clashes against Free Syrian Army forces. According to the terrorist Quds Forces’ Tasnim news agency, this commander has been a Hezbollah member for the past three decades. In the beginning of the attacks in Syria he was dispatched to Damascus and months later in this country he was killed on Wednesday.
Basam Tabajah was the commander of a number of operational axes in the 2006 war in southern Lebanon.
