Syrian opposition fighters in Damascus and the adjacent areas said they have downed a warplane belonging to Assad forces as it was bombing the city of Douma and East Ghuta adjacent to Damascus, Orient TV reported.
The Syrian opposition fighters in their statement added this warplane crashed in a field north or east of the Syrian capital.
