Syrian rebels in the province of Qoneytara have seized the East Tal Ahmar region after ten months of blockade. With this victory the road has been opened to take over more important positions and the military balance of power in southern Damascus has changed. The Free Syrian Army says in this phase of attacks they have reached all their objectives and over 70% of the Qoneytara Province is now under their control.
