INTV, 3 Nov 2013 – Ayatollah Bashir al-Nujaifi, one of the four main Shiite ayatollahs in Iraq warned Maliki on spilling the blood of Iraqis. This unprecedented criticism was the first of its kind coming from Iraq’s senior religious community, raised with such clarity and seriousness against Maliki.
The senior religious community in Najaf has become tired of continuing to provide suggestions to the rulers, he added.
