David Satterfield, Iraq coordinator and senior adviser to US Secretary of State, expressed his concern over Iran’s meddling and influence in Iraq.

Interviewing Al-Sharqia TV, in answer to the question of how Iran’s meddling could be stopped, he said: We are very concerned on the Iranian regime’s negative role in Iraq, including its involvement in violence, creating unrest, and meddling in Iraq’s internal affairs. We have mobilized the world community over this issue. US President in his latest visit to the Middle East discussed the issue of Iran’s intervention in Iraq with the leaders of the countries in the region.
