The French Foreign Ministry announced it was hopeful the UN Security Council would immediately approve a new resolution for intensification of sanctions against the Iranian regime.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Pascale Andreani said: We are hopeful that UN Security Council would immediately approve the new resolution.
