Al-Hurra T.V. reported on Oct. 17: the Reporters Without Border Organization announced t hat since the start of invasion of Iraq in 2003, about 200 journalists have been assassinated in Iraq.

The assassinations of journalists are conducted by militias and death squads who are supported by the Iraqi government.
