The leader of National Iraqi Faction and former Iraqi premier Dr. Ayad Allawi, while visiting the European Parliament, warned against Iranian regime’s escalating interferences in Iraq, reported Baghdad T.V.

On Tuesday Dr. Allawi visited a number of important European parliamentarians and political personalities during his visit to the European Parliament. The Iraqi National Faction announced on Wednesday in a statement that in his meetings the destructive role of Iranian regime and its negative impacts on Iraq and also violation of human rights in Iraq that has reached a very dangerous point were discussed.

The statement added that in the discussions the necessity of a grater role by the United Nation, Arab league, the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Iraq were emphasized in order to accomplish and secure the real national interests of Iraq and to support of the U.N. activities for establishing security and forming Iraqi security forces loyal to Iraq.
