In an interview with CNN, General David Petraeus, commander of the Multi National Force in Iraq (MNFI) said: There should be no hesitation in the secret and deadly meddling of the Quds Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in Iraq and that this force makes polices in Iraq.

CNN reported that there were rumors that Iran’s policy has might have changed and balanced to some extent and this regime’s agents detained by US Army might be released, but General Petraeus says: ” All claims as if these persons were diplomats, or even Iraqi President’s remarks that recently said one of these people by the name of Farhadi had been a merchant aren’t truth.”

General Petraeus told CNN: Let me make it clear that the people we arrested in northern Iraq are members of the Quds Force of IRGC. This is out of question. We are absolutely sure who he is and what has done in the past and conveniences he provided here and what position he has in Quds Force. I have to repeat there is no doubt about them. We have enough knowledge of them through numerous intelligence sources and different methods.

General Petraeus added: Even the Iranian ambassador in Iraq is a member of the Quds Force.
