Iraqi MP Ahmad al-Alwani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Commission, delivered a speech at a demonstration in Falluja saying protests will continue until Maliki receives a no-confidence vote.
“These protests are not only for Rafa al-Essawi. In fact they are to get rid of cruelty against Iraq’s Sunnis in general,” he said.
“These demonstrations will continue until Maliki receives a no-confidence vote,” al-Alwani added.
Numerous Iraqi MPs including Khaled al-Alwani and Walid al-Mohammadi took part in this demonstration alongside Ahmad al-Alwani.
