India – AFP – 1/25/2015 – US President Barack Obama arived in New Delhi on Sunday for the start of a three-day visit to India.
Obama, who landed in Air Force One at around 9:40am (0410 GMT), is due to hold talks later Sunday with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be the chief guest at Monday’s Republic Day parade.
The US president had planned to stay longer in India, but he decided to cut short his visit and go the Saudi Arabia to pay tribute to the late King Abdullah.
