The North American Treaty Organization, NATO, expressed serious concerns over the dangerous consequences of Russian warplanes infiltrating into Turkish airspace, Al Jazeera TV reported.
NATO Member States held an emergency session in Brussels calling on Russia to immediately provide an explanation on this development. They also expressed concerns over Russia’s airstrikes against the Syrian opposition.
On the other hand, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Russia’s interference in Syria has escalated the crisis.
